This is a super quick and easy recipe that I’m absolutely OBSESSED with.  It’s gluten free and protein packed. You can refrigerate them or freeze them if you can have enough will power not to eat them all right after you make them 😉

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/2 cup of flaxseeds
  • 1 tblspoon of honey
  • 2 spoonfuls of fat free yogurt (gives at that moist *ew I hate that word* consistency)
  • 2/3 cup of almond butter (barney butter is my FAVORITE)
  • Extra tip: add a little cocoa for those amazing chocolate tones!

How to make it:

  • Mix ingredients into bowl
  • Place in refrigerator for 10 minutes
  • Roll into energy bites
  • Enjoy!

Stay Golden!

  1. I’m currently on the hunt for some tasty afternoon snacks and these seem like an awesome option! I might try to add or substitute in some protein powder if I’ll be eating them after a workout, too. 🙂

    1. This is PERFECT for an afternoonsnack! It gives you that burst of energy to power through that afternoon slump. You could totally add the protein powder instead of cocoa or just add it into the mix. You can also substitute peanut butter instead of almond butter! Such a good snack. Thanks for reading!
